When it is open during the warm months, I like to take my Canon 1ds mk3 with me.
A little gem, accidently found in a park at the back of a housing estate. A real surprise and a treat. Worth a wee visit in the summer I should imagine.
This is a gem of a place to escape the bustle of the surrounding area. Really quiet and I nearly had the place to myself. Staff here were cheerful. There's a diverse array of plants in the different gardens and glasshouses. Although some areas are looking like they're in need of a revamp.
Lovely gardens very well kept, allotments are awesome, really lovely place to visit. Little park for kids to play in too. You feel like your somewhere else down there, love it!
Had a lovely morning today 23May.. With lots of the beautiful trees and flowers in bloom... We were here as an outdoor learning exercise with p6b St John Paul II Primary School.... We then visited the allotments to see how their plot was doing... Xx
