Very unprofessional and poor service provided. We had agreed to rent a property in Hamilton after waiting days for a decision from the landlord on who he wanted to progress with. We were sent documents through on Monday morning and I replied back to Suzanne's text message to say I will have the documents emailed back out as soon as possible. I thought I'd sent the documents out that day and never got the undelivered email message in my inbox as i later found it went into my junk mail. I had paid the holding deposit that evening as well but never heard anything the next day. I was out the country after that and they were told so in the beginning.My wife received a text from Riccardo to say that we hadn't received the documents so if we could provide bank details for the holding deposit to be returned as the landlord has decided to rent to someone else as a result of this. We had not been contacted at all before this and instead they just sent a message for the refund. The documents were sent on 17/09/18 and the move in date proposed was 03/10/18 even though we wanted to move in sooner. Their excuse was the landlord was getting nervous and wasn't sure if we would change our mind. Please try and find a better excuse next time! I wouldn't have paid the holding deposit if I wasn't interested and I made Suzanne aware these documents were going to be sent out. I don't understand why we weren't even consulted before they went ahead with another potential tenant. When I found out the email hadn't been sent I said I could resend all the documents again as I have them, they were like sorry unless their credit check fails we can't do anything, Absolutely ridiculous! The landlord was desperate to rent his property and as he wanted as much money out of it as possible was having trouble renting it. I feel that the landlord had no choice but to go ahead with us. When someone else showed interest he was looking for an excuse to prevent us from renting it. As 1 and a half days after sending out forms to us was a bit too long for them (they give you the option to also post them in as well).You would think with all the good reviews you expect good service but after dealing with many agents and landlords they are by far the worst!!
